Michał Joachimowski

Michał Teodor Joachimowski ( born September 26, 1950 in Żnin; † January 19, 2014 in Bydgoszcz ) was a Polish triple jumper.

He was eighth at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Grenoble and seventh at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972.

A silver medal at the European Indoor Championships 1973 in Rotterdam followed gold at the European Indoor Championships 1974 in Gothenburg. The European Athletics Championships 1974 in Rome, he was fifth. In 1975, he won again at the European Indoor Championships in Katowice and won silver at the Universiade.

In 1976 he retired from in qualifying at the Olympic Games in Montreal.

Six times he was national champion in the open air (1972-1976, 1978) and three times in the hall ( 1973-1975 ).
