Michał Kubiak

Michał Kubiak ( born February 23, 1988 in Wałcz ) is a Polish volleyball player.

Career

Kubiak began his career in 2002 at Maraton Świnoujście. In 2004 he was with the Polish Junior European Champion and Vice World Champion of the age group U18. From 2005 to 2008, he played one year at Joker Pila, AZS UWM Olsztyn and Poznan KS. Then the external attacker went to Israel Hapoel Kiryat Ata. In 2009 he moved on to the Italian League to Pallavolo Padua. A year later he returned to Poland and was at AZS Politechnika Warszawska under contract. Kubiak 2011 debuted in the senior team. With the team he achieved two third places in the World League and the European Championship and second place in the World Cup. In the same year he came to his present club Jastrzębski Węgiel. With Poland, he won the World League. He also took part in the Olympic Games in London.
