Michel Deville

Michel Deville ( born April 13, 1931 in Boulogne- Billancourt, Hauts -de -Seine ) is a French film director and screenwriter.

Michel Deville got a 1986 César Award for Best Director for his film imminent danger. In 1998 he received the Silver Shell of the Festival Internacional de Cine de Donostia- San Sebastián for the feature film drama Diary of a country doctor.

Among his best known films also include The Reader and The Wild Sheep.
