Michel Guérard

Michel Guérard ( born March 27, 1933, Vetheuil in the department of Val -d'Oise ) is a French chef and one of the inventors of Nouvelle Cuisine.

Life

After visiting the Lyceum Corneille in Rouen he began in 1950 his pastry training at Kleber Alix. In 1957 a job as a pastry chef at the Hôtel de Crillon, where he received in 1958 in the territory of the French Order of Best Worker of France for his achievements pastry, three years later, Paul Bocuse should receive. After working as a pastry chef at the Lido in 1965 he opened his restaurant " Le Pot au Feu " in Asnières, for which he is awarded 2 stars in the 1970 Michelin Guide.
