Michel Pharaon

Michel Pharaon (Arabic: ميشال فرعون; born 1959 in Beirut ) is a politician from Lebanon. He's since July 19, 2005 Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Government of Lebanon in July 2005 under Prime Minister Fouad Siniora.

Life

Michel Pharaon is a member of the Lebanese National Assembly and heard as a Member for the Future Movement.

He has made ​​1980 a degree in economics at the Université Saint -Joseph, before 1981 earned an MBA from the Sorbonne. He is Chairman of several companies, including the insurance company Mednet and the magazine Commerce du Levant. He is vice president of the company Ruphayil Pharaon and Sons and the Pharaon Holding. He is the head of the wealthy and influential Greek Catholic Family Pharaon.

On 21 November 2006, perpetrated on him in his office an assassination attempt which failed.
