Michèle Striffler

Michèle Striffler ( born August 23, 1957 in Mulhouse, Haut-Rhin ) is a French politician (La Gauche modern, former Parti Socialiste ).

Striffler made ​​the diploma in pharmacy for pharmaceutical sales representatives. Then worked as a Management Accountant in a travel agency as well as in the construction and real estate sector, also in Germany and Switzerland. From 1989 to 2007 she was working as pharmaceutical representative.

Striffler was in the Parti Socialiste secretary of the Section Mulhouse ( Alsace ) and Member of the National Committee for Financial Control. In 2007, she left the SP to join the newly formed modern party La Gauche, where she was chairman of the same party association Alsace also. A year later she was elected to the party executive. From 2008 to 2010 she was Deputy Mayor of Mulhouse, since it is in the local councilor with responsibility for European affairs. In 2009 she was elected in the constituency Est, which includes the East of France to the European Parliament.
