Michiel van Musscher

Michiel van Musscher (* 1643 in Rotterdam, † June 20, 1705 in Amsterdam) was a Dutch engraver and old masters of the Baroque. He is a student of Gabriel Metsu, Adriaen van Ostade and Abraham Lambertsz. van den Temple. He worked in Rotterdam, from about 1678 but especially in Amsterdam.

His works can be found in various well-known Dutch museums, including the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, the Mauritshuis in The Hague and the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
