The VFW 200 is a car race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which takes place at Michigan International Speedway near Brooklyn in Southeast Michigan. It is only since 1999 in the racing calendar, in 2001 it was not discharged. It covers a distance of 200 miles, which is equivalent to 100 rounds. This race distance that must be denied since the inaugural tournament was never changed. In 2004 there was a Green- White- Checkered finish, as it once again gave a yellow phase a few laps to go. Thus a total of 204 miles and thus two rounds were driven more than planned in the race.

In the first edition, the race was called goracing.com 200, 2000 and 2002, there was no main sponsor and in the following years, sponsored among others Sears and Con-way race.
