Michiru Jo

Michiru Jō (Japanese城 みちる, Jō Michiru, born November 18, 1957 in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan Kotaro Joya (Japanese城 谷 晃 太郎, Joya Kotaro ) ) is a Japanese singer and entertainer, who in especially for his appearances the show Takeshi 's Castle also became known in Europe.

Michiru Jo's career began at the age of 15 years with the hit ( kayōkyoku ) Iruka ni notta Shonen ( The Boy of the dolphin rode ) in 1973. Up to the beginning of his studies at the Komazawa University in Tokyo, he earns his living as a pop singer. Another well-known hits from this period is Jō Michiru wa Angel (城 みちる 君 は エンジェル, Jō Michiru -kun wa enjeru ). After his studies he worked in the electronics store in Hiroshima until he married at the age of 25 and moved to Tokyo. The marriage ended in spite of the birth of his son with a divorce. At the age of 34 years he married again and fathered a daughter.

Michiru Jō was finally broadcast Takeshi 's Castle in 1986 for entertainers and appeared as a nephew of Prince Takeshi and was often seen in the following games: to see the suspension bridge stage and the Schlossberg. Outside of Japan, was created by the broadcast the rumor that Michiru Jō was really the nephew of Takeshi Kitano.

According to Takeshi 's Castle he later began working for the local radio station Hiroshima TV and hosted several shows like there Susume, Sport Genkimaru when it comes to fishing.
