Mičije

Mičije is a village in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was first mentioned in 1237 in church records. The village in the Republika Srpska entity until 1995 had about 600 predominantly Croat inhabitants, in 2008, there are significantly less.

Mičije belongs to Općina Gradiška. The river Lubina flows from the mountains of the Natural Park Kozara through the town. Patron saint of Mičije is Saint Anthony of Padua, which is celebrated every year on June 13.
