Mickaël Conjungo

Mickaël Conjungo ( Mickaël Glenn Conjungo Taumhas; born May 6, 1969 in Bangui ) is a track and field athlete from the Central African Republic, specializes in the discus throw. In international championships he always represented his native country, but also has French citizenship.

Conjungo 1994 and 1995 French champion in the discus throw. His first international title in this discipline he succeeded at the Track Championships Africa 1993 in Durban. In the Jeux de la Francophonie in 1994 Bondoufle he took second place. In 1995 he won in the Central African Championships gold medals with the discus and javelin. In the same year he finished second in the discus throw at the Pan-African Games in Harare. This was followed by bronze medals at the Jeux de la Francophonie in 1997 in Antananarivo, at the Athletics - Africa Championships 1998 in Dakar and at the Pan-African Games in 1999 in Johannesburg. In 2000 he was in Algiers Vice African champions.

In addition Conjungo started in discus throw between 1991 and 2000 at five World Athletics Championships and two Olympic Games, but never could there qualify for a final.

Mickaël Conjungo is 1,93 m tall and 91 kg. His younger sister Maria- Joëlle Conjungo was active as a hurdler.
