Mickey and the Seal

Mickey and the Seal is an American animated short film directed by Charles A. Nichols from the year 1948.

Action

Mickey Mouse is feeding at the zoo seals with fish. The fish, which he throws into the enclosure, are captured by a small seal that gets hungry for more. She sneaks in Mickey's carrying basket. In Mickey's house the seal acquaintance with Pluto, Mickey makes so excited barking at the little intruder alert makes that Mickey puts him in front of the door. The seal has meanwhile discovered Mickey's full tub and jumps into the water. Without the seal to notice Mickey takes a bath, soaps and scrubs away, where he soon realizes that he does not always scrub and the soap does not always hit the places he has planned. He discovered the seal in the bath water, and Pluto is very relieved when Micky him opened to want to bring the seal back to the zoo.

The plan will be implemented. The seal tells the other seals of the zoo from their washing experiences and are enthusiastic. As Mickey and Pluto come home, the entire bathroom is populated by seals, the soap eagerly and scrub.
