Microtubule organizing center

MTOC microtubule organizing center is ( microtubule organizing center ). In most cells, microtubules grow from a limited number of starting points. MTOCs, the locations in the cell, where in vivo the growth of microtubules begins.

There are several types MTOC. The centrioles about as well as the basal body ( from cilia and flagella them go out ) includes a characteristic arrangement of nine microtubule triplets (9 × 3 0).
