Middle colic artery

The middle colic artery media ( "middle colonic artery " ) is an artery of the upper intestines artery ( superior mesenteric artery or cranial ) going on. It rises below the pancreas and divides into a right ( ramus dexter ) and a left branch ( ramus sinister). The right branch anastomoses with the middle colic artery artery, the left colic artery to the vein.

The middle colic artery supplies the transverse colon media ( transverse colon ).
