Midões ( Barcelos ) is a municipality in the district of Braga in the Minho province of Portugal with 456 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011).
Culture and sights
Among the most important buildings of the town include the church in the Romanesque style, and the disused railway station, which counts as the oldest in the district of Barcelos. Until the construction of the bridge over the Cávado in Barcelos, the train station in Midões was for all travelers to the north terminus.

History
According to Professor JJ Bouças in an article in 1929 meant the name of the place Midões "land of the mills ". Passing through once stayed Gustave Eiffel in the " Quinta de Fontelo ", which today serves as a venue for weddings and other occasions.
