Migori

Migori is a town of about 50,000 inhabitants in the province of Nyanza in Kenya. Migori is the capital of the district of the same name. Migori is located about 50 km south of Kisii and 20 km north of the Tanzanian border. From Migori is a road in the nature reserve of Masai Mara.

Infrastructure

The city has among other things, three hospitals, the Ojele Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph's Ombo Mission Hospital and the Migori District Hospital.

In Migori, there are several schools, such as the Ombo Primary School, the Migori Primary School and the Nyagubo Primary School.

In the area around Migori there is gold and copper deposits.
