Miguelete is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the north of the department of Colonia in its sector 2 Miguelete lies a few kilometers southeast of Ombúes de Lavalle. The area west of the town is called Cuchilla Miguelete, while the Cuchilla San Salvador is located in the north. There is also the nearby border to Nachbardepartamento Soriano.

History

On 8 November 1942 Miguelete was classified by the law Nr.10.113 in the " Pueblo " category.

Miguelete has the Liceo de Colonia Miguelete founded in 1992 on a secondary school ( Liceo ).

Through the village leads the Ruta 106

Population

The place had in the census in 2011 999 inhabitants, of which 502 male and 497 female residents
