Miika Koppinen John ( born July 5, 1978 in Kokkola ) is a Finnish footballer, who took in the national team of his native country from 2000 to 2006.

The 1.89 m tall defender played for the Finnish club Kokkolan Palloveikot and FF Jaro, before moving in 2000 to Norway to Tromso IL. There he rose in 2001 to the second division from. However, the club succeeded in the immediate resurgence. From 2005 he was at Rosenborg Trondheim under contract and has been with the club in 2006 Norwegian champion. In 2008 he returned to Tromsø IL.

Miika Koppinen graduated between 2000 and 2006 18 caps for Finland. Then he stepped out for personal reasons from the national team, but was nominated in October 2010 for the EM - Qualifkationssspiel against Hungary national coach Stuart Baxter.
