Mika Oksa

Mika Oksa ( born July 6, 1976 in Espoo ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2010 at HK Junost Minsk in the Belarusian Extraliga under contract.

Career

Mika Oksa began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Espoo Blues, for their first team, he made his debut in the SM- liiga in the 1995/96 season. For the following season the goalkeeper moved to FPS Forssa in the then second-class I divisioona. In this he remained from 1997 to 1999, when he stood at Ahmat Hyvinkää under contract. He then returned to his former club from Espoo, for a total of six years he ran aground and 2005 in the SM- liiga. After he started the season 2005/ 06 in IK in the Swedish Elitserien Timrå, he finished it in the HC Lugano in the Swiss National League A, but in which he had no use.

In the summer of 2006 Oksa was committed by reigning Finnish champions HPK Hämeenlinna, with whom he in the final of the IIHF European Champions Cup Russia's Ak Bars Kazan opponents lost with 0:6 2007. Then he stood for two years HPKS League rivals KalPa Kuopio between the posts, before he signed a contract with HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League for the 2009/10 season. For use Oksa first came exclusively with the HK Schachzjor Salihorsk, the farm team Dinamo, in the Belarusian Extraliga, before he completed five KHL games for Dinamo at the start of the following season. Subsequently he was employed in the new partner team HK Junost Minsk from the Extraliga, with whom he won the Continental Cup and the Belarusian championship. Since 2011 Oksa is solid at Junost under contract.
