Mikael Ishak

Mikael Ishak (* 31 March 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish footballer of Assyrian origin, who is under contract at FC Parma, but is currently on loan at FC Crotone.

Career

In January 2010, Ishak was included in the squad for the first team Assyriska Föreningen. Soon he was able to establish itself in the squad and recommended for use in the Swedish U-19 national team.

In December 2011, Ishak completed a trial with former Bundesliga 1 FC Cologne and was engaged during the winter break of the season 2011/12. His debut in the Bundesliga, he completed on January 21, 2012 ( 18th Round ), when he appeared as a substitute in the 0-1 away defeat against VfL Wolfsburg in the 85th minute for Martin Lanig. After he was mainly used as a substitute, he made on 18 March 2012 ( 26th Round ) - through suspension of Lukas Podolski - in the 1:4 away defeat against Hannover 96 his first game from the start, in which he played through. At the end of the season, which ended with the descent of the 1st FC Cologne, Ishak had completed eleven league matches.

In February 2013 Ishak joined on loan until end of season to FC St. Gallen to more match practice to attain. By mid- March, he was a regular for the riser in the Superleague on the field before he turned out several weeks after one had moved in a U-21 international match broken jaw. The end of April, he returned as a substitute in the match against FC Zurich on the pitch back from the next Round, he was again a regular player.

Beginning of August 2013 changed Ishak in the Italian Serie A Parma FC. From there, he was loaned directly to the FC Crotone.
