Mike Dopud

Mike Dopud ( born June 10, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian former Canadian professional football player, actor and stuntman.

Life

Dopud grew up the son of a Serbian immigrant family who had left in the early 1960s Yugoslavia. He played college football at Southern Illinois University, and then as a professional with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League as well as in Birmingham Fire in the World League of American Football. His career, however, was ended by a knee injury. Then he changed the sport and played hockey in Columbus Chill in the East Coast Hockey League.

From the mid- 1990s he began to work as a stuntman, first in various television series such as The Outer Limits - The unknown dimension, Stargate - Kommando SG -1 and Viper.
