Mike Weir

Michael Richard Weir, CM, O.Ont ( born May 12, 1970 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada ) is a professional golfer of the North American PGA TOUR.

In 1992, embarked on the professional career, Weir, 1999 was the first Canadian in 45 years, who won an event on the PGA Tour in his home country for themselves. His most successful year came in 2003 when he won the Masters in Augusta and two tournament victories and a third place in another major, the U.S. Open.

Actually, Mike Weir is right-handed - only he plays golf left-handed, as well as his professional colleague Phil Mickelson. He currently lives with his wife Bricia and their two daughters in the U.S. ( Draper, Utah).
