Mikel Artetxe
Mikel Artetxe Gezuraga (* September 24 1976 in Larrabetzu ) is a Spanish cyclist.
Mikel Artetxe began his career in 1999 in the Basque Euskaltel -Euskadi cycling team. He celebrated his first success in 2000 when he decided two stages and the overall title at the Grand Prix Jornal de Noticias for themselves. In 2001 he won a stage of the Ruta del Sol and in the following year at the Grande Prémio Internacional de Torres Vedras. Since 2006 Artetxe running at the Spanish Professional Continental Team 3 Molinos Resort. He won in his first year there a stage at the Vuelta a Asturias. As of 2007, he will ride for Fuerteventura - Canarias.
