MikkyÅ
Mizong (Chinese密宗, Pinyin Mizong, W.-G. Mi- tsung ) is a comprehensive term for all schools of the widespread in China or esoteric Tantric Buddhism ( Vajrayana ). The esoteric teachings themselves are collectively known as Mijiao (Chinese密 教, Pinyin Mìjiào, W.-G. Mi- chiao ) refers.
The esoteric Buddhism was during the Tang dynasty by Śubhākarasiṃha ( 637-735 ), Vajrabodhi ( 671-741 ) and Amoghavajra ( 705-774 ) of India imported to China.
Its heyday he lived in the 9th century and later in 13-14. Century. He influenced the doctrines of the Huayan and Tiantai zong (see Tendai shū ) and arrived in the 9th century to Japan, where he Mikkyo under the name (密 教) was known in the form of Shingon Shuu ( counterpart of the Chinese Zhenyan zong ).
