Miklósi

Miklósi ( German Niklasing ) is a municipality in Hungary Somogy in the region of Southern Transdanubia. The population was 234 people on 1 January 2009.

Location

Miklósi located 26 km south of Lake Balaton ( Balaton ). The size of the area is 10.47 km ². The municipality belongs to the small area tab, the notarial district office is Bedegkér. The national roads 61 and 65 lead to the east in about 15 km distance past, the M 7 motorway is 20 km to the north.

Population

The inhabitants living in 124 dwellings. The population consists of 95% of Hungarians, 17 % of whom are of German descent, 1% are German and Dutch, 4% other nationalities. The denominations are made up of Roman Catholic 88.8 %; Protestant 2.7%; Lutheran 2.7%; Not to a church or denomination are 1.9%; unknown or not reported are 3.5%.
