Milagres (band)

Milagres is an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. In early 2011 the band signed with the label Kill Rock Stars.

History

Kyle Willson (lead vocals), Fraser McCulloch ( bass, keyboards, vocals), and Eric Schwortz (guitar, backing vocals, percussion) knew each other from the New York University. The drummer Steven Leventhal and keyboardist Chris Brazee McCulloch knew Schwortz out of high school, where they were already a band. 2010 had lead singer Kyle Willson a serious climbing accident. The consequences were severe back injury. As he lay in bed, he wrote many songs for the band. A few of them are now listening to the album Glowing Mouth. Shortly after the release of their debut album Glowing Mouth, the band signed with the British label Memphis Industries yet to release the album in the UK and other European countries.

Band name

Milagres is Portuguese and means miracle. This band's name comes from, because lead singer Kyle Willson had survived his climbing accident.
