Milan Fukal

Milan fukal ( born May 16, 1975 in Jablonec nad Nisou ) is a Czech football player. Since 2013 he is the Austrian fifth-tier SV Esternberg under contract.

Club career

Fukal began playing football in 1981 at Sokol Kokonín, 13 years old, he moved to FK Jablonec. 1993/94, he completed his military service at VTJ Karlovy Vary. He then played in two years for EME Melnik, FK Český Brod, Pelikan Decin and Bohemians Prague. For the season 1996/97 the central defender returned to FK Jablonec and played quickly in stem formation.

In 1999 he moved to Sparta Prague and was an integral part of the Czech national team, with whom he participated in the European Championship in 2000. After the European Championships he went to the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV. 2004 he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Overall fukal graduated 109 Bundesliga matches and scored nine goals.

2006 fukal returned to FK Jablonec. In July 2008 he moved abroad again, and went to the Austrian Bundesliga Kapfenberg SV. After three years at Kapfenberg SV Milan fukal returns to the 2011/12 season in his homeland, he signed a one year contract with the Czech first division club FC Hradec Králové. After two years with FC Hradec Králové fukal joined the 2013/14 season in the 5th Austrian league SV Esternberg.

National

Fukal debuted on December 21, 1997 at 1-0 against Uruguay in the Czech national team.

Especially between 2000 and 2002 resulted in no alternative to the defender, he made 15 of his total of 19 internationals. His last international match so far made ​​fukal on 30 April 2003 in a 4-0 against Turkey.

On 20 November 2002 in a 3-3 draw against Sweden in Teplice fukal acted after the departure of Pavel Nedvěd in 68 minutes as captain.
