Milán Füst

Milán Füst ( born July 17, 1888 in Budapest, † July 26, 1967 ) was a Hungarian writer and aesthetics professor.

Life

Fust, who studied law until 1912 and temporarily worked as a teacher, published his first poems in 1909 in " Nyugat ". Have appeared first by poetry ( Változtatnod nem lehet, 1913), Füst was also a playwright ( Boldogtalanok, 1914). His plays were, however late, ever listed shortly before his death, so, for example, in 1940 arisen Drama Negyedik király Henrik ( Henry IV ), which was first seen in 1964 in the Hungarian capital.

His most successful literary work was translated into many languages ​​novel " The story of my wife " (A feleségem története " ), the Füst designed to over 40,000 pages manuscript over a period of seven years and in 1942 completed. 1967, the novel Füst the nomination for the literature Nobel Prize.

For many years Füst was also professor of aesthetics in Budapest.
