Milasín

Milasin ( German Millasin, also Milasein ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south of Bystřice nad Perštejnem and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Milasin is located on a knoll on the right side above the valleys of Rožínka and Nedvědička in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. To the north lies the forest park Templ. In the east, the railway line from Tišnov leads to Bystřice nad Perštejnem through the valley of Nedvědička. Below Milasin is the railway station " Rožná ". South-east rises the Dejmalka (600 m). South of the village is the pit uranium mine Bukov 1, south-west of the county road from Dolni Rožínka after Tišnov, the ventilation shaft Bukov 2 and west of the stockpile of Schurfschachtes 37 Milasin.

Neighboring towns are Dvořiště in the north, Rožná in the northeast, Suché Louka and Jabloňov in the east, in the southeast Střítež, Bukov in the south, Horni Rozsíčka and Dolni Rozsíčka the southwest, Novomlýnské and Mirošov in the west and Blažkov and Dolni Rožínka in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Mileczaw took place in 1348 on the sale of goods Zubštejner. 1349 then a village Miliczin was mentioned. A unique assignment to the current locations Milasin, Milíkov and Milešín has not been successful, so that the first clear evidence of secured Milasin of 1589 dated. At this time the village belonged to rule Mitrov. 1656 Milasin was detached from Mitrov and the Good Rožná slammed. Together with Rožná Milasin was acquired in 1661 by Maximilian of Liechtenstein - Kastelkorn and connected the reign Pernsteins. 1675 was the village of 11 houses. In 1710 the Lords of Stockhammer acquired the possession. 1790 lived 115 people in 13 houses of Milasin. From 1793 onwards Milasin belonged to the race of man mountain. 1834 the number of houses had increased to 18 and the village had 147 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Milasýn formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Nove Mesto. 1947, the community was assigned nad Perštejnem in the wake of the dissolution of Okres Nové Město na Moravě the Okres Bystřice. Between 1954 and 1956 a mineable uranium deposit was discovered in geological exploration work in the Valley of Nedvědička. 1959 the village was west of Schurfschacht 37 sunk to the level of the 3rd floor in 119 m.
