Military World Games
The Military World Games (official Military World Games ) will be held every four years since 1995, modeled on the Olympic Summer Games since 2010 and every four years during the winter by the World Military Sports Association. The summer games are always a year before the Summer Olympic Games take place, the Winter Games will be held in the same year.
The Militar World Sports Association decided in 1994 for the first time that in addition to that the annual since the Second World War world championships in various sports and a sporting event according to the rules of the IOC. On the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II, the first Summer Games were held in Rome.
