Mille Lacs Lake

The Lake Mille Lacs is a lake in Minnesota, which is characterized by its abundance of fish. In winter it freezes over and is reliable as of December trafficable. It will even set up houses for ice fishermen. The lake is 536 km ², the second largest inland lake in Minnesota, on its banks are the Father Hennepin State Park and the Mille Lacs Kathio State Park. Neighbors are the towns of Garrison, Isle, Malmo Township, Vineland, Wahkon, Wealth Wood Township, Mille Lacs County, Aitkin County and Crow Wing County.
