Milltimber

Milltimber is a suburb of the Scottish city of Aberdeen. He is about eight kilometers west of the city center on the north bank of the Dee located. In 2001 Milltimber recorded 6662 inhabitants together with the westerly Peterculter. East of Milltimber is the village of Cults.

Milltimber developed in the 19th century by a station on the Deeside Railway line of the Great North of Scotland Railway, which ran from Aberdeen to Ballater. The line was closed in 1966. The A93 runs through Milltimber and includes the village on to the road network. The A90 is a few kilometers to the east. A few hundred meters to the west is a road bridge over the Dee.
