Milorad Pavić (footballer)

Milorad Pavić called Michel Pavić, ( born November 11, 1921 in Valjevo, † 16 August 2005 ) was a Yugoslav football coach.

Life

Milorad Pavić was born in 1921 in Yugoslavia. There he was in 1959, 1960 and 1964, winning the title of national champion with Red Star Belgrade and recorded three Cup successes in 1958, 1959 and 1964.

Later, he was obliged by the Belgian club Standard Liege. With the " Rouches " he won 1964-1968 twice the Belgian Cup (1966 and 1967). In 1968 he moved to FC Bruges, but could not quite meet the expectations there and hired from 1969 to 1971 at the FC Liege.

From 1971, he was with Spanish football clubs Athletic Bilbao, FC Malaga and Celta Vigo and the Portuguese traditional clubs Benfica and Sporting Lisbon under contract. After Waterschei - bribery scandal Pavić returned 1985 Standard Liege back. Although he was in between briefly replaced by the coach Helmut Graf, but ultimately followed in 1987 a contract extension for standard.

The coach was Pavić internationally as a renowned tactician and follower of the direct short-passing game.
