Milwaukee IndyFest

The Milwaukee IndyFest is an automobile race in West Allis, Wisconsin, United States. It is since 2004 in the racing calendar of the IndyCar Series and will be held annually at the Milwaukee Mile.

History

At the Milwaukee Mile have been held since 1903 car race. Since 1937, found almost every year race of American Championship Car Racing on the track instead. 2004 IndyCar Series conducted its first hosts an event on the Milwaukee Mile. The first three years also found the Champ Car race at this track instead of continuing. After the Champ Car had set her Milwaukee race, the IndyCar Series moved this event from July to the end of May and June. Up to 2010, the IndyCar Series race was held annually.
