Ming-Xiaoling-Mausoleum

The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum ( Ming Xiaoling明孝陵) is the grave of Emperor Hongwu ( Zhu Yuanzhang朱元璋), the founder of the Ming Dynasty, and his wife Ma. It is located in Zhongshan Mountain ( Zhong Shan) Nanjing in China's Jiangsu Province.

To the grave introduces famous for its stone sculptures " Sacred Way " ( Shendao ).

Besides graves are graves of meritorious officials Chang Yuchun (常 遇春), Qiu Cheng (仇 成), Wu Liang (吴良), Wu Zhen (吴 桢), Xu Da (徐达) and Li Wenzhong (李文忠).

The Xiaoling Mausoleum ( Ming Xiaoling ) is since 1961 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-177 ).
