Minhaj-i-Siraj

Called Minhadsch ad-Din Abu Amr Uthman ibn Siradsch ad - Din Muhammad Dschuzdschani, also briefly Minhadsch -i Siradsch, (* 1193 in Ghur, died in the second half of the 13th century in Delhi ) was a Persian chronicler of the 13th century, whose family came from Dschuzdschan. He served, among others, the Ghurids, Delhi and Nasrid sultans and wrote to 1260 the work Tabaqat -i Nasiri, which is among other things an important source for the life of Genghis Khan and the history of the Mongols.
