Minkhaf I

Minchaef ( according to another reading Chaefmin ) was a prince of the ancient Egyptian 4th Dynasty. He was a son of Pharaoh Khufu, his mother was possibly Henutsen. At an unspecified time he held the office of vizier and was thus the highest official to the king. He probably died during the reign of Khufu's successor Radjedef or in the first years of the reign of Khafre.

Minchaef heard the Doppelmastaba G 7430-7440 on the Eastern Cemetery of the Pyramid of Cheops. Here is a sarcophagus of red granite of the deceased was found, which is presently located in Cairo at the Egyptian Museum.
