Mino (Gifu)

Mino (Japanese美浓 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Gifu.

History

The city of Mino was founded on April 1, 1954.

Geography

Mino is just north of Nagoya and Gifu.

The river Nagara flows through the city from north to south.

Attractions

Riverside Nagara the lighthouse of the harbor is Kouzuchi (上 有 知 凑, Kouzuchi minato ).

Traffic

Mino is on the Tokai - Hokuriku Expressway and National Highway 156 after Takaoka. The main train station is located on the Nagatetsu Etsuminan line.

Mino borders Gujō and Seki ( Gifu ).
