Minor Majority

Minor Majority is a Norwegian pop and folk band.

The group was Pål Angelskår ( songwriter, singer and guitarist ) and Andreas Berczelly (keyboards) formed in 2000 as a studio project. The duo was assisted in several songs by the singer Karen Jo Fields, who since then occurs again and again as a guest. Many other guest musicians gave the compositions Angelskårs from the beginning even more depth. Berczelly retired in 2002 as a musician, but remained producer, and was replaced by Jon Arild Stieng. A year later, the duo gradually a quintet, because Harald Sommerstad (organ), Henrik Harr Widerøe (bass) and Halvor Høgh Winsnes (drums) were fixed band members.

The music group is in the singer- songwriter tradition. Your lyrics are written entirely in English and mostly revolve around interpersonal issues in order desires and disappointments, relationship issues and commitment phobia.

For their work, the band received in Norway awards including the Gold album or Spelemannsprisen. Individual songs were highly placed to be found in the Norwegian charts. Among her more famous pieces include Electro Love (2001 ) Dancing In The Backyard (2002), She Gave Me Away (2004), Come Back To Me ( 2006 ) Supergirl (2006), Alison (2006) and Wish You'd Hold That Smile ( 2006).

The group was also often on tour, except in Norway, especially in Germany, France and Switzerland. Despite all their success was their greater international prominence so far failed.
