Mint 400

The Mint 400 was a motocross race for 250 cc machines. It took place from 1968 to 1987 instead of a 100 -mile round trip in the desert to Las Vegas and was sponsored by the hotel owner Del Webb. Famous is the race through Hunter S. Thompson's book of 1971, on which the film of the same "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas " ( German " Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas " ) is based.
