Mint Airways

Mint Airways was a Spanish charter airline based in Madrid and based on the Madrid-Barajas Airport.

History

Mint Airways was launched in 2009 and adopted on 20 June 2009 with an initial flight operations of an acquired from Flyglobespan Boeing 757-200, which was supplemented by an aircraft of the same model in summer 2010. At the turn of 2010/2011 is additionally took a McDonnell Douglas MD- 83 of Swiftair under contract, which has been issued but again in the meantime.

May 22, 2012 Mint Airways was due to the market situation and a failed search for investors in bankruptcy and ceased operations.

Objectives

Mint Airways offered last charter flights from Madrid to Cairo, Aswan and Luxor in Egypt and Amman in Jordan to. The main business was, however, covered by wet-lease and ad hoc assignments.
