Minuscule 7

Minuscule 7 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), ε 287 ( Soden), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 186 parchment leaves ( 20.6 × 16 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 12th century. It was written in one column per page, each with 29 rows.

Description

The Code contains the complete text of the four Gospels. The capital letters are written in color, initials in red. It contains the Eusebischen canon, Epistula ad Carpianum, Prolegomena, martyrology and Synaxarion.

The manuscript belongs to the family of texts 1424.

History

The text was examined by Scholz. The Code is currently in the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Gr. 71) in Paris.
