Minxin Film Company

The film production company Minxin (Chinese民 新, Minxin Pinyin ) or " China Sun " Film Company was a company of early Chinese film.

It was founded in 1922 by Li Minwei ( Lai Man- wai ) in Hong Kong. In 1926 she moved to Shanghai after the film production in Hong Kong had become almost impossible because of economic uncertainty. In the late 1920s Minxin ran into financial difficulties and could no longer compete with its main competitors, the large film company Mingxing and other film studios. Li Minweis friend Luo Mingyou helped in saving the society by, created a new company Lianhua, one of the great studios of the 1930s and 1930 Minxin endowed them. 1936 took over Li Minwei the Lianhua Studio No. 1 and made it the basis of a new independent Minxin Film Company.
