Miracle of the White Stallions ( Original title: Miracle Of The White Stallions ) is a 1962 filmed on the Walt Disney Studios. Directed by Arthur Hiller. Along with Robert Taylor, who embodies the historical figure of the officer Alois Podhajsky, Lilli Palmer and Eddie Albert playing in the lead roles. The film is about the evacuation of the Lipizzaner stallions of the Spanish Riding School in the Second World War. Large parts of the movie were filmed in the Winter Riding School and in the stables of the Hermes Villa in Vienna. It originated from the novel by Alois Podhajsky.

Action

Colonel Alois Podhajsky would evacuate his beloved Lipizzaner stallions of Vienna, in order not to let them fall into the wrong hands. To General Patton would like to secure help Podhajsky present him with the Spanish Riding School in a performance.
