Miranda is a British sitcom to the BBC, which was developed by Miranda Hart. She also plays the eponymous lead role. The series is based on Hart's semi- autobiographical writing, followed by a pilot film for television and radio comedy series Miranda Hart 's Joke Shop on BBC Radio 2 Three seasons have been produced, a fourth announced, which may, however, only in 2015 go on the air because Hart is too involved in other projects.

In the UK the first two seasons on BBC Two, the third season was shown on BBC One. For Germany, the Disney Channel secured the rights and plans the sitcom from 2014 to show in the evening program.

Understanding

In many episodes Miranda tells about himself: Miranda is 1.85 meters tall and is often mistaken for a man. Relationships, especially with men, you fall very hard. Miranda has already won several awards. The prices include the Royal Television Society Award for the role of Miranda Hart and the British Comedy Award for best new British comedy series. She was also nominated for two British Academy Television Awards.

DVD release

In the UK, all three seasons already been released on DVD, and there is a common box of seasons one and two on the market. A Komplettbox of seasons one through three appeared on November 4, 2013.
