Miriam Akavia

Miriam Akavia (Hebrew מרים עקביא; * 1927 as Matylda Weinfeld in Kraków ) is an Israeli writer and translator. She survived the ghetto in Krakow, then the concentration camp at Plaszow, Auschwitz and Bergen- Belsen. Since 1946 she lives in Israel. Her work is primarily concerned with Jewish fate during the Holocaust.
