Miriam Glazer-Ta'asa

Mirijam Glaser Ta'asa (Hebrew מרים גלזר - תעסה, born August 11, 1929 at the Kingdom of Yemen) is an Israeli politician.

Life

In 1934, the aliyah of the family who immigrated along with Mirijam in the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine. Glaser Ta'asa grew up in Newe Tzedek (Hebrew נְוֵה צֶדֶק, lit. Pending the justice ) in Tel Aviv and attended the Talpiot school. Since 1945 Glaser was a member of the Irgun Ta'asa Tzwa'i Le'umi and after the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948 they became an officer and served in the IDF.

Then studied Glaser Ta'asa at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, she graduated with a bachelor's degree. She then graduated from the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she graduated with a master's degree. From 1951 to 1980 she worked as a head teacher at the after Johanna Jabotinsky (Hebrew יוענה ז'בוטינסקי ) named high school in Be'er Ya'akov (Hebrew בְּאֵר יַעֲקֹב, lit. Jacobs Well) between Nes Ziona and Rishon LeZion.

From 1978 to 1980 she was a lecturer at Levinsky Teachers' Seminary.

Glaser was Ta'asa 1981-1988 Knesset Likud and Deputy Education Minister from August 11, 1981 to September 13, 1984. During the elections in 1984 she was re-elected, but not again Deputy Minister, although the chairman of the Immigration and admission committee had been appointed. She lost her seat in elections to the Knesset in 1984.
