Mirja Turestedt

Mirja Viveka Turestedt (* September 24, 1972 in Borås ) is a Swedish actress.

Career

She grew up in Gothenburg and Malmö. After her graduation she worked as a freelancer for various theaters, on the radio, in film and television, and as a speaker at several audio books. Turestedt studied from 1998 to 2002 at the Higher School of Theatre Gothenburg. After completing her training as an actor at the Theatre Academy in 2002, she had her first appearances in the Swedish film and television, and then worked as an actress in many other film and television productions. In the fall and winter of 2007 she had the important supporting role of Marika in the television series maze of TV 4. She also appeared in the film Arn - The Knight Templar on, where she played the role of mother Sigrid the title character.
