Mirko Höfflin

Mirko Höfflin ( born June 18, 1992 Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German professional ice hockey player who is under contract since 2012 at the Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

Career

Mirko Höfflin began his career as a hockey player with the young eagles Mannheim, where he was active in the German Junior League from 2007 to 2010. In the three seasons of the attacker each German junior champion with his team was. In the 2009/10 season, he was also with 32 goals in the main round best top scorer of the DNL. For the Heilbronner Falken of the 2nd hockey league he was in the same season his debut in professional hockey when he gave three assists in 23 games. Then the German junior national player in NHL Entry Draft 2010 was selected in the sixth round as a total 151 players from the Chicago Blackhawks. The player is decisive for a move to North America and played in the 2010/11 season for the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. After a season in Quebec City, he was transferred from the Remparts in exchange for Jérémie Malouin Acadie - Bathurst Titan to. Before DEL 2012/13 season he returned to Mannheim and since then has been in the squad of the Adler Mannheim.

Internationally

For Germany Höfflin participated in the U18 Junior World Championship 2009, the U18 Junior B- World Cup 2010, as well as the U20 Junior B World Cup, 2010. In 2010 he rose to both the U18 and U20 in the top division of the respective age group. A further application had Höfflin at the U20 World Youth Championship 2011.
