Mirko Soltau

Mirko Soltau ( born January 13, 1980 in Dresden ) is a German football player.

Career

Mirko Soltau learned to play football at the age of five years at Dynamo Dresden. His first stop in the men's area was the FV Dresden -Nord, then the left-footer played at the regional or Oberliga FC Augsburg, 1 FC Union Berlin and FC Sachsen Leipzig and VFC Plauen. In the 2008 /09 season, he completed 30 games for Plauen in the North Regional, scoring eight goals. Season highlight was the 4-1 victory against SV Babelsberg 03, as the midfielder scored all four goals for the VFC. Soltau was achievers his team and thus attracted the interest of clubs höherklassiger up.

On June 19, 2009 Mirko Soltau signed a two year contract with the third division side Dynamo Dresden and completed in the 2009/10 season nine games for the SG Dynamo. His first game 25 July 2009 against VfB Stuttgart II was also his pro debut. In the 2010/11 season Soltau played as captain for the second team of Dresdner in fünftklassigen Oberliga Nordost. For the 2011/12 season he joined the Saxon division Heidenauer SV, with the he managed to climb into the Oberliga Nordost. Overall Soltau has played more games in nine of the 3rd League and 58 games in the Regional, where he could enter to eleven times on the scoresheet. These two missions came in the DFB Cup.
